sectors. The Bachelor of science in information and communication technology program of the University of Burao is an Eight Semester Program Designed to produce Word-class  ICT professionals , that is not only nationally competitive but also globally competitive.  

The Information  and  communication  technology (ICT) program  will prepare students  for positions  as  information  communication 
technology professionals providing operational and infrastructure support for computer and information systems in business, public, and 
institutional organizations. 

The Information  and  Communication  Technology (ICT) program  aims  to  prepare a highly competent  workforce in  the  field  of 
information  and  communication  technology to  serve as  Programmer,  Networker  officer,  Web Developer, Security Officer,  Database 
Designer and Database Administrator, ICT  technician,  multimedia Designer. 

To be successful l students  should focus  practical labs.
